Radio Emilia 5.9

“Radio Emilia 5.9. La mia vita dopo il terremoto” narrates the the life, post-earthquake, of a group of young men and women between the ages of 16 and 22 who live in Cavezzo, a small town with 7000 inhabitants, epicenter of the earth-quake that hit Emilia in May 2012. The protagonists of Radio Emilia 5.9 have one purpose: to create a radio that spreads awareness about the areas hit by the earthquake and let the victims speak, in particular those who are young and are giving their best to ensure a future for themselves. They want to stress that 5.9 is not only the magnitude of the seism but also their radio. Radio 5.9 is the name of the radio run by Eugenio (18), Luca (18), Doina (16) and Matteo “Sippo” (22).
