A group of teenagers gained an opportunity that many people can only dream about: to play in the A Series of the Italian football championship. What does it mean to be a young talent in the most loved sport at only 16? The two editions of “Calciatori. Giovani speranze” show the lives of the young men part of the “Allievi Nazionali” team of Fiorentina Calcio. The cameras followed them on the field, in the locker rooms, at school, in their dormitory in Florence where they live and when visting their families. We will feel their tensions and joys, their fatigue and strength, their moments of crisis and victory, their disappointments and satisfactions. We will live this crucial moment of their lives with them.
